Limited availability for a hands on class with both Mark and Richard. This class will take what you've learned from the demo and give you the opportunity to apply it yourself to a model with the guidance of both Mark and Richard. You will be required to bring/book your own model for this day.

At the young age of 14, Mark Bustos discovered the power of human interaction through his passion for cutting hair. That's why he has dedicated the last 19 years, not only developing and honing his craft, but sharing his talents all over the globe with clients such as his own brothers and cousins to fashion designer, Phillip Lim, NASCAR Driver, Jeff Gordon and even 8-year old Isabella, living on the streets in the Philippines.
As Mark travels to different cities to give back, Mark has also earned himself a styling chair in some of the most prestigious salons in America, including Oribe Salon in South Beach, Miami and RamirezTran Salon in Beverly Hills, CA. He has recently been nominated as Educator of the year at the 2017 Stylist Choice Awards. He also attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Kean University.
As the founder of the #BeAwesomeToSomebody Charity/Movement, Mark has humbly given a new meaning to being compassionate by giving free haircuts to the homeless every Sunday. Not only has this inspired family, friends, hairstylists and strangers all over the world to help those in need, Mark is able to meet new people and be moved by their stories simply by doing what he loves.
Mark has recently been featured in The New York Times, CNN, ABC World News, Forbes, Huffington Post, GQ, Details Magazine, Vanity Fair, People Magazine, and many more. The #BeAwesomeToSomebody Movement has also received international acclaim in several publications across Europe and Asia, notably the Philippines, which is both where his family is from and where the #BeAwesomeToSomebody Movement was born.

Richard’s extensive international work has earned him a place among the superstars in the industry. He was a key member of the TONI&GUY London/label.m session teams, and regarded as one of the world’s leading long hair specialists. Richard works major fashion events, traveling the world to head shows for both the A/W and S/S seasons at New York and London Fashion Week.
Past seasons saw Richard collaborate with esteemed London designers Giles Deacon, Todd Lynn, Vivienne Westwood, Mathew Williamson and renowned designers Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Vera Wang just to name a few. Richard’s world-renowned work has been published in leading publications including British Vogue, Elle, Company, Grazia, Creative Head and The Journal. He was a key contributor on all major brand campaigns and photo shoots for TONI&GUY London and label.m.
Richard, a member of the renowned Australian F.A.M.E. Team for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, has been recognized for his high caliber of hairdressing, taking the title “Newcomer of the Year” twice, once in 1999 and again in 2000. Also awarded the very prestigious accolade of “Australian Master” at the 2009 Australian Hair Fashion Awards, this master stylist is now setting the New York Fashion scene ablaze with his presence backstage at top hair and fashion events.
Richard began his career with TONI&GUY Australia and was based at the renowned flagship TONI&GUY London Academy for 11 years, where he managed the Academy for three years before his move to New York City.
